I used to sell big stacks of this book back in the early 2000’s. It’s a more of a compact shape in its smart new edition but an extensive 150 pages and all the feral punk toddlers are still there, doing their own thing, trolling all the ‘grown up’ losers moaning about kids ‘these days’.
These pissed off younguns are more relevant today than back when they first came around when we still held a flimsy belief in societal progress, that democracy might actually real and all of that daft nonsense. Now all bets are off, Capitalism has completely failed, and the kids are back, tooled up and venomous, with big watery eyes.
Sack the political circus anyway, let’s look at art, read books, walk for hours, listen to new jazz records, draw pictures, dream about the forests and admire Nara’s whimsical juxtapositions between sweet innocence and murderous intent.
